This is a non-wax type jacket from the “Bedale” model, one of the most popular and representative items in the BARBOUR lineup.
A special film is applied to the reverse side of the cotton-based fabric to ensure water resistance. This item can be worn with peace of mind even by those who do not like wax jackets.
The silhouette has been revised from 2024, and a comfortable fit has been added, so you can comfortably wear it over a jacket. Please enjoy it in various coordinates, from casual to suit styles.

About BEDALE
Among Barbour’s iconic models, the “BEDALE” stands out as a favorite. Inspired by short jackets popular in France during the 1980s, it was developed by then-chair Margaret Barbour as a versatile piece for equestrian wear.
While carrying the design elements of the 1960 “SOLWAY ZIPPER” hunting jacket, it was updated to be more practical for horseback riding.
