Skin-friendly and easy to care for “Birko-Flor”
The upper material is “Birko-Flor”, which is used exclusively for BIRKENSTOCK shoes. It is a synthetic material that is highly durable and easy to care for.

The buckles are durable enough to withstand years of use, and are treated with corrosion protection and several layers of baked-on coating.

The backside, which directly touches the skin, is fleece, and the buckle clasp is bent inward in a pretzel shape for a gentle feel against the skin.

Comfort for long walks
The toe grip, which creates natural room between the toes and keeps them comfortable, is also good for helping the toes grip the ground when walking. The heel bar, which works the calf muscles, gives stability to the hindfoot and improves the walking process and muscle movement alignment.
